Brighton Taekwondo Academy are WTF taekwondo club based in Brighton. And have several classes aimed at beginners all the way up to elite level.

As a club we aim to promote etiquette, modesty, perseverance, indomitable spirit and self control which are the the tenets of taekwondo.

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art that is a very effective form of self defence an excellent way of improving self confidence and fitness.

Famous for its dynamic and spectacular kicking techniques and entertaining competition,Taekwondo is one of the fastest growing sports worldwide.

WTF Taekwondo is second to none for its kicking power, speed and technique.

As a route to general fitness, Taekwondo is suited to all and has no barriers to age, gender or size. Strength, power, stamina and flexibility are all developed in a safe and supervised environment.

Brighton & Hove Taekwondo is affiliated through the WTA to the BTCB (British Taekwondo Control Board) which is the governing body for WTF (World Taekwondo Federation) Taekwondo in the United Kingdom.

All instructors are fully licensed, CRB checked, insured and have extensive experience in all aspects of WTF Taekwondo.

Classes: Varndean College, Surrenden Road, Brighton

Mondays 7-8.30pm All ages and abilities (Beginners welcome)

Thursdays : 4.30 -6pm (under 16s) Beginners class

7 -8.30pm (invitation only) Competition training
